On 1/18/20, The Dothan Police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 blk of Blackshear for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver was in possession of crack cocaine. As the officers attempted to place the driver, Kenneth Glasgow, in custody a struggle ensued as the officers were trying to get Glasgow handcuffed. In the process of the struggle, Glasgow attempted to swallow the crack cocaine and an officer put his finger in Glasgow’s mouth in order to retrieve the evidence. Glasgow then bit down on the officers finger causing an injury. The evidence was recovered and Glasgow was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Assault 2nd degree.
Glasgow is currently being held on no bond.
All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
