On 05/09/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 40 year old Jason Daniel Garrett, of South Oates Street, with Burglary 3rd degree. This stems from a residential burglary that occurred in the 3000 block of S. Oates Street on May 9th. Bond has been set at $15,000.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 05/09/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 19 year old Mickey Renard Wesley Jr., of Magnolia Drive Ashford, with two counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle. This stems from two vehicles being burglarized on February 24th on the east side of town. Bond has been set at $5,000.

On 05/08/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 28 year old Simeon Johnson, of Madison Ave, with Robbery 1st.
Bond has been set at $60,000.

On 05/08/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 21 year old Gregory Austin Byrd, of Rehobeth Way, with Burglary 2nd.
Bond has been set at $30,000.

On 05/08/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 49 year old Jeffery Allen Jones, of Eddins Road, with Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle. Bond has been set at $2,500.

On 05/07/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 36 year old Walter Shealey Jr., of Powell Street, with Sexual Abuse 1st. Due to the sensitive nature of this crime, no other details can be released.
Bond has been set at $300,000.

On 05/06/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 27 year old James Tyler Rigsby, of Olympia Drive, with Assault 2nd. Bond has been set at $15,000.

On 05/04/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 48 year old Jeffery Allen Jones, of Eddins Road, with two counts of Theft of Property 2nd degree and two counts of Theft of Property 3rd degree. These thefts range from December 2016 until April 2017. Jones is charged with stealing numerous items from construction sites in Dothan. Houston County Sheriff’s Office assisted in this investigation. Investigators are working to recover the stolen property and return it to the owners. Bond has been set at $7,000.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 05/04/2017 Investigators arrested and charged 35 year old Bryan Otis Langford, of Ross Clark Circle, with Sale, Furnishing, etc., of a Controlled Substance by Persons over age 18 to Persons under age 18. The investigation revealed that Langford provided an illegal narcotic to a female juvenile. Due to the sensitive nature of this case no other details can be released. The Alabama Department of Human Resources assisted in this investigation. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
