The Dothan Police made an arrest last night of a Dothan man Lasharie Roberts (30) and charged him with 3 counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering of Motor Vehicle. Roberts is also a suspect in several more in the Westgate Park area and more charges are to follow. He is being held on a $30,000 bond.
All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court law.
Dothan Police have arrested Elijah Hazel (16) for the shooting that occurred at Wiregrass park on November 30th. Hazel is a juvenile that is being charged as an adult with assault 2nd degree. Hazel is being held on a $15,000 bond.

Dothan Police arrested Joseph Joyce (32) of Dothan, after he attempted to car-jack two different vehicles from two different elderly victims. One incident occurred in the intersection of Draper and Allen and the other was in the 900 block of Eagle Rd. Both robbery attempts failed . Police canines were used to track Joyce in the area of an abandoned house in the 900 block of Allen Rd where he was arrested and charged with 2 counts of robbery 3rd and is being held on a $30,000 bond.

Dothan Police responded to a robbery in progress at the Circle K, 4196 Ross Clark. Patrol officers surrounded the area and apprehended Derrick Gibson (31) of Dothan. Gibson will be charged with robbery 1st and is being held on a $50,000 bond.

The Dothan Police have made an arrest in the robbery that occurred near Southeast Health on November 12th. Police have arrested Robert Antonio Parrish (17) of Dothan and charged him with Robbery 1st degree. Parrish is a juvenile but is being charged as an adult and is currently being held in the Houston County Jail on $60,000 bond.

The Dothan Police Department arrested a juvenile for the breaking and entering of 11 cars throughout Dothan. The juvenile is from Ozark is being held in the Diversion Center.

The Dothan Police have arrested Rasheed Walker (24) of Newville, AL for multiple burglaries in Dothan. The burglaries occurred in the 100 block of East Spring Street, 1100 block of Martin Street, 900 block of North Park Avenue, and 800 block of Chinook Street.
Walker is being held on a $60,000 bond. All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 11/12/2019, the Dothan Police Department responded to the parking lot of the South East Health in reference to a robbery of a person. The victim was arriving at work when she was confronted by an unknown subject that brandished a firearm and demanded her purse. The case is still developing and multiple investigators are on the scene. We will update when more information is known.
On 11/04/2019, The Dothan Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Greentree Ave. In reference to a robbery/shooting call. When officers arrived, it was determined that there were two people shot. The investigation revealed that a suspect pulled a weapon on the victim and a struggle ensued. The suspect fired a round into the victim’s leg and the victim pulled a weapon and fired two rounds into the suspect. One round went into the shoulder and the other into the leg. Both men received medical treatment and all wounds are considered non-life threating. Arrests are to follow.
On 10/24/2019 Dothan Police responded to a single vehicle accident near the intersection of W. Powell Street and Edgewood Drive. Officer quickly determined that the driver was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body and was transported to a local hospital. The victim is currently listed in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing. Investigators are conducting searches and interviews throughout the area.
Investigators have arrested and charged two suspects in this crime:
26-year-old Michael S. Jones, of Broadway Street Ashford, and
29 year old Calvin Bivens, of Greentree Street.
Both suspects were charged with Robbery 1st degree and Attempted Murder and are being held on no bond.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
